In the book of 1 Chronicles 12:32, we read about the sons of Issachar. The Bible says, “Of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command;” The last couple of years have been filled with uncertainty. The entire world was affected by the covid 19 pandemic. Even before we get to grips with its ramifications, we are now faced with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. These two events have caused massive disruptions in global economies. There is talk of a global reset.
As a child of God, how are you to interpret such times? God certainly does not want his children groping in the dark. Long before the world thought of a global reset, God spoke through His prophet Haggai:
“In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake the nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,” says the LORD Almighty.
Haggai 2:6,7
In 1999, I had an encounter that radically changed my life and mapped out my destiny. In what I believe was an out-of-the-body experience, I saw a man shining brighter than the sun. The brightness was blinding. I could not keep my eyes on Him. He had a rod in His hand which I later understood is the scepter or mark of authority.
Then I heard these words;
Time is running out
There is urgency in the realm of the Spirit
I’m doing a quick work
Whatever you do, do it quickly
We need to understand that God is in control of times and seasons. Nothing that happens takes Him by surprise. As we approach the end of all things, God will use many things to bring His purposes to pass. All we need to do is stay in His presence. He will guide us. He will keep us. He will provide for us. He will sustain us.
Many blessings,
